Welcome to Parade Group Practice

The Parade Group GP Practice is based at Townhead Health Centre, 16 Alexandra Parade, Glasgow, G31 2ES which is located on the ground floor of the Queen Elizabeth Building in Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

We are a long established family practice providing general medical services to a wide range of patients.

Our opening hours are 08:30 to 18:00 Monday to Friday.

Our aim is to provide a high quality, caring and personal health care service to our whole patient population by:

  • Putting our patients at the centre of what we do
  • Having a highly qualified and trained multi-professional integrated primary healthcare team
  • Offering our services in a safe, supportive and suitably equipped environment including using technological advances in health care systems for our patient’s benefit.

We work very closely with our allied community nursing, health visiting and specialist teams to ensure your care is co-ordinated to the highest of standards. We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

COVID 19 VACCINATION FOR 75 -80 YEAR OLDS AND OVER ONLY –  PLEASE SEE MORE INFORMATION UNDER NEWS SECTION

 

Anyone developing symptoms consistent with COVID-19, however mild, should stay at home for 7 days from the onset of symptoms. In addition, it is recommended that anyone living in the same household as a symptomatic person should self-isolate for 14 days.

The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are recent onset of: a new continuous cough and/or high temperature

If you have suspected symptoms of Coronavirus please call 111 as first point of contact. Patients who need to be seen will be offered appointments at a dedicated local assessment centre staffed and equipped to deal with Coronavirus related presentations

Further, people are advised to take social distancing measures to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19. In particular, this is strongly advised for people aged 70 or over, people with underlying medical conditions and pregnant women. Further advice is available on NHS Inform.
